Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built For Two) ๐Ÿ”ผ

In 1961, this was the first ever song sung by a computer. ย The movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, has HAL 9000 singing it as it's being shut down, it was the first thing it was taught. ย This was inspired by the 1961 computer singing demonstration.

At a party that involves open microphone and discussions, there was a discussion about AI, so I learned this to play at that party.

What I didn't know until I started researching it to learn it was that it's only the chorus that HAL 9000 sings, and I never even knew there where verses. ย I've only learned the chorus so far.

Naturally I came up with alternate lyrics, both AI related, and a ribald version.

A I, A I, gimme an answer true.

I'm too lazy, so figure it out, please do.

Don't give me hallucinations,

I can't afford more tokens.

But you will cheat, and generate heat,

you're an LLM made of poo.

If Monty Python can do a song about oral sex, then so can I.

Daisy, Daisy, sit on my face, please do.

I'm half crazy, over my lust for you.

Your labia, my penis,

There's not a lot between us.

But you'll look sweet, placing your seat,

on my mustache that's built for two.

I'm a figment of the 'nets imagination, living in the future, waiting for the rest of the world to catch up.
